Locksmith in Hueytown, AL

Hueytown is a settled residential city west of Birmingham, with most of the commercial activity concentrated along Allison-Bonnett Memorial Drive. Homes here tend to be owner-occupied and long held, so the hardware is often original: worn cylinders, sticking deadbolts and doors that have shifted enough to bind.

Repair and rekey work is the bulk of what we do here, along with automotive keys programmed in driveways.

Hueytown incorporated in 1959, and much of its housing dates from the decades around that. Original locks from that era can usually be rekeyed if the cylinders are still sound, which is cheaper than replacement. Where a door has only a knob lock, adding a proper deadbolt with a reinforced strike is one of the most useful upgrades we make.
