Locksmith in Forestdale, AL

Forestdale is a large unincorporated community northwest of Birmingham with a busy retail strip along Forestdale Boulevard. A mix of owner-occupied and rental housing keeps rekeying steady, and the shopping center parking lots produce their share of car lockouts and lost key calls.

Forestdale’s neighborhoods were largely built in the postwar decades, and plenty of that original hardware is still on the doors: knob locks with no deadbolt, worn cylinders that need the key jiggled, and strikes that have loosened in soft door frames. All of it is common and inexpensive to fix.

Forestdale is unincorporated, so residents sometimes wonder whether a Birmingham locksmith covers them. We do: Forestdale is on our regular routes along US-78 and I-22, and the shopping center lots around Forestdale Square are a familiar spot for car lockout calls.
